The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolau digs a good body shot into Dustfinger's ribs.
Nikolau misses with the body kick
and Dustfinger counters with a straight right hand.
Nikolau throws a sloppy head kick and Dustfinger moves out of range easily.
It looked like Dustfinger wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Dustfinger connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nikolau momentarily.

Dustfinger lands a left and a right that send Nikolau crashing to the mat, dazed. Dustfinger thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Panagiotis Nikolau has been cut.
Henry Dustfinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Nikolau makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Nikolau tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dustfinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Dustfinger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Nikolau cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dustfinger is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Dustfinger lands a hook that stumbles Nikolau back into the cage. Dustfinger follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Nikolau to the canvas! Dustfinger pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Nikolau has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
