Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Tsunoda!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsunoda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Munro moves away.
It looked like Munro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Munro slips a jab from Tsunoda.
Tsunoda dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Tsunoda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tsunoda throws a leg kick
and Munro counters with a nice body shot.
Munro missing with a left hand there. Tsunoda was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Munro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tsunoda misses with a hook to the body
and Tsunoda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A telegraphed right hand from Tsunoda misses the target.

Munro lands a left and a right that send Tsunoda crashing to the mat, dazed. Munro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tsunoda throws a series of strikes that have Munro backpedaling.
Tsunoda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Munro moves away.

Munro shoots in and bounces Tsunoda off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Munro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Munro chips away with some ground and pound.
Tsunoda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Munro controls the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Tsunoda lands a head shot.

Munro drives through and clinches with Tsunoda against the cage.

Tsunoda can't break the clinch.
Munro tries to work over Tsunoda's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Munro is trying to trip Tsunoda. He has hold of a leg but Tsunoda is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Munro persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tsunoda can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tsunoda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Munro swings for the body but Tsunoda moves out of range.
Tsunoda takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Munro is looking to counter punch.
Tsunoda throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Munro cracks Tsunoda with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Tsunoda is trying to force a seperation but Munro has the dominant position.

Munro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Tsunoda misses with an attempted mid kick.
Munro feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tsunodas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Tsunoda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tsunoda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tsunoda is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Munro rather than just go for the knockout.

Johnny Tsunoda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Munro moves into range and clinches up with Tsunoda.
Tsunoda is still on wobbly legs! Can Munro finish him?

Tsunoda tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Munro manages to move to mount!

Munro quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Munro but it's paid off an Tsunoda is forced to tap! Nice work by Munro.
