Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kallio connects with a nice looking jab.
Kallio checks a low kick from Telushikin.
Kallio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Telushikin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kallio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kallio misses with a low kick.
Telushikin blocks a head kick by Kallio.
Kallio lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Telushikin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Kimmo Kallio has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Kallio.
Telushikin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kallio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Telushikin circles away quickly and effectively.
Telushikin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kallio is out of range and Telushikin settles back down.
Kallio will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kallio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Telushikin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kallio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Telushikin throws a wild body kick that Kallio sees coming a mile off.
Kallio appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Telushikin. Kallio does a little dance to reset his feet.
Telushikin's coach down at The Scrap Squad was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Telushikin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kallio throws a hook but Telushikin avoids it easily.
Telushikin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kallio stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Telushikin tries to clinch but Kallio is having none of it.

Telushikin throws a punch but it's blocked by Kallio.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kallio digs a right hand into Telushikin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Telushikin's gas tank.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kallio creates a bit of distance and cracks Telushikin with a big uppercut! Telushikin goes down! The referee pushes Kallio away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Telushikin make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Kallio takes it!
