Berinjela comes to the ring accompanied by “Yoda” by Weird Al. Bruno Berinjela has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berinjela catches Teagarden with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Teagarden uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Berinjela.
Teagarden lands with a cross.
Teagarden lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Teagarden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab lands there for Berinjela.
Teagarden has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Berinjela ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Teagarden misses with a lunging right hand
and Berinjela counters with a leg kick.
Teagarden takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Berinjela counters with a beautiful hook that drops Teagarden to the mat! Will Teagarden be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Berinjela to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Teagarden is up. He looks OK to continue.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Berinjela fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Teagarden.
Berinjela looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Berinjela counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Teagarden is still on wobbly legs! Can Berinjela finish him?
Berinjela is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Berinjela fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Teagarden misses with an uppercut. Berinjela saw that one coming.
Teagarden seems to have recovered his senses.

Berinjela moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Berinjela is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Teagarden throws a poor cross that misses
and as Teagarden tries to reset, Berinjela cracks him with a perfect counter right hand that drops him to the mat! Teagarden is trying to get up but he's doing the chicken dance and face plants back to the floor - that's enough for the referee and he's called the bout! This one is all over!
