Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Howell (ranked 1691 p4p, 3532 weight class) and Gigi Woerner (ranked 196 p4p, 378 weight class). Howell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is HonestKey- The Unseen. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gigi Woerner!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Woerner.
Woerner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Howell takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Julius Howell has been cut.
Woerner throws a hook to the side of Howell's head but Howell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Howell appears to be looking for a big counter.
Howell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Woerner cracks Howell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Howell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Woerner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Woerner. Howell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Howell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Woerner swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Woerner avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Woerner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Howells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Woerner's corner calls for a 1-2. Woerner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Howell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Howell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Howell scores with a jab.
Woerner misses with a lunging right hand

and Howell counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Howell.
Woerner can't break the clinch.

Woerner manages to break the clinch.
Woerner misses with a hook to the body

and Howell counters by clinching up.
Howell lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Woerner backwards.

Woerner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Woerner swings for the body but Howell moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Howell tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
An inside leg kick lands from Howell.
A left lands for Woerner.

Julius Howell's cut is getting worse.
Woerner lands with a hook. Howell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Howell keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Woerner smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Julius Howell's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Howell takes a swing at Woerner's ribcage but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Woerner cracks Howell with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Woerner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Howell to stand back up!

Jeez, Julius Howell's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Julius Howell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
