Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur King (ranked 1840 p4p, 1750 weight class) and Marcus Johnson (ranked 224 p4p, 214 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Johnson.
King throws out a leg kick but Johnson moves out of range and King only half commits.
Johnson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nice defenses there by King.
King takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
King pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and King settles back down.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

King is fighting to break Johnson's control of his arms but Johnson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Johnson has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.

Johnson pushes King off but King dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Johnson!

King is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. King gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. King gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. King apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arthur King will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

King shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

King is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Johnson's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

King shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

King with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

King drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Johnson's guard.

I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
