Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between White Cole (ranked 133 p4p, 214 weight class) and Bento Barboza (ranked 17 p4p, 29 weight class). Barboza has chosen Angel Of Death as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cole takes a swing at Barboza's ribcage but misses.
Barboza looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Cole looks to score with a jab to the body but Barboza is just out of range.

Barboza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cole, pushing him back against the cage.

Cole decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cole is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cole has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Cole seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Cole controls Barboza momentarily but Barboza frees himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cole wants to control but Barboza postures up.
Cole is looking to regain half guard here but Barboza keeps moving and retains side control.

That was a close round but I would say that White Cole will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cole jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barboza walks away with a smile on his face. Cole gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cole will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
