Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patty O Reilly (ranked 2128 p4p, 23232 weight class) and Thiago Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thiago Cortes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patty O Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thiago Cortes!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Reilly shoots and misses
and Cortes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
O Reilly wants to clinch but Cortes slips to the side
and Cortes counters with a stiff right hand.

Cortes swings wildly with an uppercut but O Reilly uses good head movement to avoid it.

O Reilly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. O Reilly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
