Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Oreily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Johnny I hardly knew ya as his entrance music. Patrick Malone acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Oreily with that takedown attempt.
Malone stuffs the takedown.

Oreily scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malone wants to get back to his feet but Oreily drags him back down.
Malone tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Malone pushes Oreily away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Oreily gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Oreily shoots for a double leg takedown but Malone sprawls well. He's pushed Oreily's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Malone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oreily pinned against the cage. Oreily gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Malone manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Malone clobbers Oreily with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Malone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oreily sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Malone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Malone is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Malone lands with a right that hurts Oreily. Oreily looks to clinch but Malone throws a short knee that drops Oreily. This one is all over!
