Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Whelan (ranked 2884 p4p, 4615 weight class) and Chalong Kitjakarn (ranked 368 p4p, 513 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Whelan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Mamas & the Papas - California Dreamin'. Kitjakarn has chosen Three Little Birds (Dub) as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whelan shoots in for a takedown but Kitjakarn shows good takedown defense.

Kitjakarn moves into range and clinches up with Whelan.
Kitjakarn is trying to stall.
Whelan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kitjakarn smiles and moves away.

Kitjakarn darts in and clinches Whelan up against the ropes.
Whelan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Whelan jumps guard but Kitjakarn turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.

Whelan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kitjakarn is defending well though. Whelan let's go of the attempt for now.

Whelan has got one arm under Kitjakarn's chin. This could be trouble... Kitjakarn trying to control the other hand but Whelan gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kitjakarn has tapped out! The fight is over!
