Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Gane (ranked 2540 p4p, 3248 weight class) and Steven Maxwell (ranked 212 p4p, 268 weight class). Gane comes to the cage accompanied by Good Kid. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell looks to land a right hand but Gane moved out of range.
Gane catches Maxwell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Maxwell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Maxwell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gane seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Maxwell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Gane. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gane.
Gane scores with a nice right hand.

Maxwell is rocked!
No joy there for Gane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maxwell is still on wobbly legs! Can Gane finish him?
Gane slips a jab and a cross from Maxwell.
Gane lands with an overhand left.
Maxwell throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gane lands a glancing blow to the side of Maxwell's head.
Maxwell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gane manages to avoid it.
Maxwell takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gane cracks Maxwell with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Maxwell falls to his knees and Gane doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
