The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nye misses with a wild body shot.
Halpert tries to close the distance and clinch but Nye swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Halpert slips a jab from Nye.

Nye clinches up with Halpert and pushes him back against the cage.
Nye lands an elbow that stopped Halpert in his tracks for a moment.
Nye works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nye lands a shoulder strike.
Nye with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Nye.

It looks like Jimothy Halpert has been cut.
