Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Diego (ranked 2359 p4p, 2699 weight class) and Mike Chandler (ranked 204 p4p, 229 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Diego.

Chandler clinches with his opponent.

Diego's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diego throws a lazy uppercut
and Diego takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Diego will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diego throws a good cross that connects.
Diego definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chandler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Diego.

Diego throws a hook but Chandler avoids it easily.

Diego swings for the body but Chandler moves out of range.
Diego looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Dan Diego has been cut.

Chandler lands a lovely overhand right.

Diego is rocked!
Diego throws the left hand but Chandler avoids the punch easily.
Oh Diego is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chandler clinches with his opponent.
Diego seems to have got his legs back now.

Chandler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chandler connects with a nice looking jab.
Chandler moves away from the strike by Diego.
Chandler looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Chandler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diego swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Diego misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chandler.

Chandler has taken the fight to the clinch.

Diego pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diego lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Diego misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chandler! But no joy.
Nice defenses there by Chandler.
Diego swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diego misses with a looping right.
Chandler throws a hook to the side of Diego's head but Diego sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Chandler gets a clinch.

Diego pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Diego!

Chandler is rocked!
Chandler misses with a wild combination.
Chandler is still on wobbly legs! Can Diego finish him?
Diego misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chandler.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chandler tries to clinch but Diego is having none of it.
Diego stuns Chandler with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Diego fakes the body blow, causing Chandler to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Chandler goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
