Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 26 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Inspektor Gee!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel takes a swing at Gee's ribcage but misses.
Gee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Steel counter with a right hand.
Gee has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Steel moves out of range of the body kick.
It looked like Steel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gee.
Gee darts in and clinches Steel up against the cage.
Steel is trying to pull guard but Gee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A short right from Steel on the inside.
Steel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A body shot lands from Steel.
Gee's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Gee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Steel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Steel stuns Gee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Inspektor Gee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Steel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gee moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Gee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gee moves out of range as Steel strikes.
Steel is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Steel lands a nice hook to Gee's body. Gee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gee misses with a kick to the body.
A low kick lands for Gee.
Steel stuns Gee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Gee throws out a loose jab but Steel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steel gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Steel cracks Gee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A left lands for Steel.
Steel has closed the distance and engaged Gee in a clinch.
Gee stalling in the clinch but Steel improves position.
Steel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gee's elbow.
Steel lands with a light punch inside.
I was talking to Steel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Steel creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Steel lands a nice shot to the body.
Gee looks winded!
Steel lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gee.
Steel lands with a short shot to the head.
Steel throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gees head.
Steel breaks the clinch.
Steel closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Gee out cold! Gee corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
