Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckel slips under a jab from Little.
Despite the aggression on Deckel's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Little throws a lazy right hand but Deckel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Deckel appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Little slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Deckel slips under a jab.
Deckel moves out of range of the strikes.
Deckel looks for a takedown but Little sprawls well.

Deckel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Little was covering up waiting for the punch and Deckel finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Little throws a shot from downtown. Deckel moves away and avoids it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Little is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The crowd cheers as Little lands an impressive looking overhand right. Deckel doesn't seem phased though.
Ty Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Little feints a jab promting Deckel to slip. Little then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Deckel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Little shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Little was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Little wants to stand but Deckel has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Little throws a shot to the body.
Little jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Little connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Deckel's hands.
Deckel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Little avoids it really well and circles away.
Little is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Deckel can do to turn this around?

Little closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deckel quickly recovers to half guard.

Little is looking to stand up but Deckel won't let him.

Little controls Deckel momentarily but Deckel frees himself.
Deckel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Little swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Little wants to get back to his feet but Deckel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Deckel postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Little to stand up.
Deckel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Little feints a jab promting Deckel to slip. Little then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Deckel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deckel wants to pass the guard but Little is keeping the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ty Little will probably get the nod.
That's time! Little's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Little loads up on a big right hand but Deckel slips the punch.
Little bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Deckel's head backwards.

We've been hearing good reports from Little's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Deckel wants to take Little's back but he can't do it this time.
Little's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

What can Little do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
