Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Joe Higgins (ranked 5189 p4p, 4758 weight class) and Teenage ViPDumpOne (ranked 606 p4p, 580 weight class). Teenage ViPDumpOne will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teenage ViPDumpOne!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ViPDumpOne looks to score with a jab to the body but Higgins is just out of range.
Higgins throws a body shot but no joy.
ViPDumpOne swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Higgins moves into range and clinches up with ViPDumpOne.

Higgins prevents ViPDumpOne from breaking the clinch.

ViPDumpOne wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Higgins tries for a takedown but ViPDumpOne manages to get underhooks.

Higgins gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Higgins lands a couple of elbows.
Higgins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Higgins passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ViPDumpOne is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Higgins asserts his dominance and retains side control.
ViPDumpOne is trying to get back to half guard.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Higgins cracks ViPDumpOne with a big elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Higgins lands a heavy elbow.
Higgins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Higgins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down ViPDumpOne for as long as he can get away with.

ViPDumpOne has left one of his arms exposed and Higgins doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. ViPDumpOne screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
