Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miami Vice (ranked 85 p4p, 401 weight class) and Jaxon Magrath (ranked 13 p4p, 56 weight class). Vice comes to the cage accompanied by Miami Vice Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 6 - 3, fighting out of New York, Jaxon Magrath!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice throws a head kick that misses.
Vice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magrath pinned against the cage. Magrath gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Magrath.
Magrath looks to land a right hand but Vice moved out of range.
Magrath uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Miami Vice has been cut.
Vice darts in looking for a takedown but Magrath gets double underhooks and turns Vice into the cage.
Magrath throws out a counter right but Vice avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Vice shoots in looking for a takedown but Magrath manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vice's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Magrath motions for Vice to come forward. Magrath throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Magrath sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Magrath throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vice.
Vice has a takedown stuffed.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Magrath! But no joy.

Magrath might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Vice drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Magrath will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd cheers as Magrath lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vice doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vice has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Magrath after a bit of a struggle.

Vice goes for a double leg but Magrath avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Magrath continues to drive forward.
Vice tries to score a body lock takedown but Magrath shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Vice is trying to drag Magrath to the mat but Magrath just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Vice throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Magrath escapes and throws Vice's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Magrath's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Magrath slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Jaxon Magrath comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Magrath has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
