Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mikey Marciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 7 - 3, fighting out of New York, Jaxon Magrath!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano scores with a crisp jab that stopped Magrath in his tracks.
Magrath throws a looping overhand right but Marciano ducks down to avoid it.
Marciano was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Magrath slips under a jab from Marciano.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Magrath! But no joy.
Marciano looks to land a right hand but Magrath moved out of range.
Magrath throws a looping overhand right but Marciano ducks down to avoid it.
Marciano appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Marciano lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Marciano scores with a decent looking hook.
Magrath misses the shot to the body.
Magrath ducks under a wild hook from Marciano.
Magrath gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Marciano.
Marciano moves into the clinch successfully.
Magrath breaks the clinch.
Magrath has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Magrath throws a jab but it's blocked by Marciano.
Marciano lands a really nice looking cross but Magrath seems unphased.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Magrath has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marciano finds it's way round the side to connect with Magrath's head.
Magrath throws a hook but Marciano blocks it.
Mikey Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magrath fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marciano manages to avoid it.
Marciano misses with a kick to the body
and Magrath counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mikey Marciano has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marciano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Marciano moves into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Marciano fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Marciano.
Magrath breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Magrath connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Marciano to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Magrath!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jaxon Magrath!
