Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Yarborough!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovanni tries to land a body kick
and Yarborough counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Yarborough throws a fast counter high kick but Giovanni manages to duck under it in time.
Giovanni throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Giovanni attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sonny Giovanni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheers as Yarborough lands an impressive looking overhand right. Giovanni doesn't seem phased though.
Crunch! Giovanni slams his shin into Yarborough's torso.
Giovanni uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Yarborough has time to react.

Giovanni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Yarborough thuds his right hand into Giovanni's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A jab lands there for Giovanni.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Yarborough counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Yarborough looks at the referee who does nothing so Yarborough lands a crushing right that sends Giovanni to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
