Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Gage (ranked 469 p4p, 455 weight class) and Adils Hallbjornsson (ranked 76 p4p, 75 weight class). Hallbjornsson has chosen Herr Mannelig as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oscar Gage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adils Hallbjornsson!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hallbjornsson counters with a nice uppercut.
Gage has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gage lands with a right hand.
Hallbjornsson misses with a straight left.
Gage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hallbjornsson but Hallbjornsson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hallbjornsson's waist but Hallbjornsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gage off to one side.

Hallbjornsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gage tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hallbjornsson defends well and Gage ends up having to push Hallbjornsson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
