The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joad scores with a hook to the body. Oeuftete takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Joad throws a big shot that misses.
Joad cracks Oeuftete with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oeuftete misses with a takedown attempt - Joad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oeuftete keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Joad lands a nice hook to Oeuftete's body. Oeuftete takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oeuftete tries to clinch but Joad moves out of range.
Tom Joad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
