Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gothic Line!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wayne ducks under a wild hook from Line.
Wayne has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wayne misses with a hook
enabling Line to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Anthony Wayne has been cut.
Nice jab there from Wayne.
Line avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Line misses the target.
Anthony Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wayne is looking to land body kicks.
Wayne scores with a nice strike.
Wayne throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Line counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Line blocks a jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Line counters with a stiff right hand.

Wayne throws a lazy uppercut
and Line counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wayne misses with a hook. Line ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Line wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Line counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wayne! Line lets Wayne back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

That has opened up Anthony Wayne's cut even more.
Line on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wayne lands a jab to the head.
Wayne misses with the combination.
Wayne misses with an uppercut
and Line counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The cut above Anthony Wayne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

A big head kick from Wayne and Line is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Line is rocked!

Line lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Line not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Line looking to sit in guard and control but Wayne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Line pulls Wayne in close to prevent any damage.
Line has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Line working a defensive guard here.
Line wants to sweep but no luck.

Wayne decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Line, up you get!
Wayne slips under a jab.
Wayne misses with a lunging right hand
and Line counters with a lovely shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Anthony Wayne will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Anthony Wayne's cut.
That's time! Line's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wayne changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wayne throws out a powerful jab.
Anthony Wayne seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Wayne fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Line has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Wayne swings for the body but Line moves out of range.
Wayne lands a front kick.
Wayne swings away with a body shot that misses
and Line counters with a nice uppercut.
Wayne tries a head kick but it misses.
Wayne misses with a right hand
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wayne slips a jab from Line.
Wayne throws a body kick that misses
and Line counters with a nice uppercut.
Wayne throws a right hand that misses
and Line counters with a nice uppercut.
Line has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Line takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Line was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Line moves out of range of the strikes.
Wayne misses with a hook

and Line counters with a crisp one two that drops Wayne! Line thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wayne to his feet! Wayne is in big trouble!

Wayne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Line moves away.
It looked like Line wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wayne throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Line counters with a left to the body.
Wayne tries to land a front kick but Line steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wayne misses with an uppercut.

Line drops Wayne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wayne looks back up at him and smiles so Line waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Anthony Wayne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anthony Wayne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gothic Line!
During a confident post fight interview, Gothic Line thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Anthony Wayne stepped up to the mic, saying 'We will go back and watch some film and determine what we need to do to get better for the next time. Hail American Revolutionaries!'.
