Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jahmar Tafari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tafari drops Thomas with a beautiful combination! Thomas stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tafari is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Thomas has been cut.
Tafari leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Tafari was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tafari is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Tafari, which made it look bad.
Thomas fails with the takedown.
Jahmar Tafari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Thomas.
Tafari slips a jab and a cross from Thomas.

Tafari lands a left and a right that send Thomas crashing to the mat, dazed. Tafari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

That has opened up John Thomas's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tafari misses with a body kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thomas! But no joy.

Thomas clinches up with Tafari and pushes him back against the cage.
Thomas jumps guard but Tafari stands there with Thomas around his waist. Thomas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Thomas is trying to maintain a safe position but Tafari gets an underhook and turns Thomas into the cage.

Tafari tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tafari is trying to drag Thomas to the mat but Thomas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Thomas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tafari swivels and escapes.

Tafari tries to clinch there but Thomas circles away.
Thomas is looking to clinch.

Tafari has Thomas up against the cage in a clinch.
Tafari is looking to break free of the clinch but Thomas has double underhooks.
Thomas is looking for a takedown.

Tafari escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Thomas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
