The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Souza misses with a double jab.
Do Souza drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Do Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Man controlling Do Souza's posture.
Do Souza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Man is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man keeping moving, preventing Do Souza from controlling successfully.
Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Do Souza stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Man has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Do Souza manages to get his head free but now Man has transitioned to an armbar! Do Souza grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Man! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rat Man!
Rat Man decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
