PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Sadaval (ranked 776 p4p, 1123 weight class) and Nils Ragnaar (ranked 94 p4p, 143 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sadaval might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Prohibido Olvidar. Ragnaar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mustasch - The Wave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Ragnaar!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sadaval checks the leg kick.

Sadaval shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ragnaar napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sadaval is stalling here. Ragnaar is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sadaval seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ragnaar has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Sadaval pushes Ragnaar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ragnaar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Sadaval has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Ragnaar's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Horacio Sadaval will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, if Sadaval is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ragnaar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sadaval, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Horacio Sadaval spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Nils Ragnaar was interviewed post fight and said 'Gonna Train Hard Again And Get The Next Win'.
