Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demir Kocak (ranked 2984 p4p, 21983 weight class) and Kingsley Brown (ranked 333 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Demir Kocak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kingsley Brown!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kocak - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kocak. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Brown throws a lazy uppercut
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Kingsley Brown has been cut.
Brown swinging wildly here.
Kocak appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kocak swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Brown counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kocak's knee momentarily.
Kocak throws a low kick, looking for Brown's leg but Brown calmly moves out of range.
Kocak scores with a nice head shot.
Kocak waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown.
It seemed like Brown was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice uppercut there from Brown.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown throws a jab when Kocak was well out of range.
Kocak has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
Kocak scores with a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Kocak saw that one coming.
Brown throws an off balance right hand
enabling Kocak to counter with a crisp jab.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kocak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brown! But no joy.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kocak, as that shot connected.
Kocak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.
Kocak blocks a head kick by Brown.
Kocak moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Brown looks winded!
Kocak fakes the leg kick and cracks Brown in the body.

Kocak lands a big uppercut and Brown crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brown looks OK. Kocak waves Brown back to his feet!

That has opened up Kingsley Brown's cut even more.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kocak cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kocak has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brown to stand back up!

Brown is rocked!

The cut above Kingsley Brown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kocak throws an uppercut from hell that sends Brown clean off his feet! He's out cold! Kocak stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Demir Kocak!
A very excited looking Demir Kocak made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
