Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Dilbrandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Gable!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gable shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gable showed some decent athleticism there.
Dilbrandt wants to control but Gable is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Gable looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gable is thwarting Dilbrandt's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dilbrandt is looking to get back to full guard here but Gable has managed to pass to side control instead.

Dilbrandt is looking for a sweep.
Gable takes a little break here. Dilbrandt wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gable controlling the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gable is working to tighten his grip on Dilbrandt's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dilbrandt has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gable is really squeezing tight and eventually Dilbrandt passes out! Gable breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
