Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Norberg (ranked 1573 p4p, 1734 weight class) and Joel Osmond (ranked 183 p4p, 205 weight class). Norberg comes to the cage accompanied by Real American - Rick Derringer. Buster Norberg could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joel Osmond's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joel Osmond!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osmond swings away with a body shot that misses
and Norberg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Joel Osmond has been cut.
Norberg ducks under a wild hook from Osmond.
Norberg pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Norberg throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Osmond misses with a series of wild punches.
Norberg is looking to counter punch.
Osmond throws a leg kick that misses.
Osmond takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Norberg tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norberg misses with a shot to the body
and Osmond connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Norberg avoids a punch combination nicely.
Osmond has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Osmond ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Osmond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Norberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Osmond was well out of range. Poor timing from Norberg.
Norberg throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Norberg counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Norberg is looking to wear down Osmond with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Osmond misses with a body punch
and Norberg counters with a nice uppercut.
Osmond fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Osmond throws a poor cross that misses
and Norberg counters with a nice body shot.
Norberg throws a jab when Osmond was well out of range.
Osmond loads up on a big right hand but Norberg slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Norberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Osmond sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Osmond 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Norberg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Joel Osmond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Osmond throws a body punch but Norberg moves out of range.
Norberg drops Osmond with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Osmond looks back up at him and smiles so Norberg waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Osmond is rocked!
That has opened up Joel Osmond's cut even more.
Norberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Osmond.
Osmond is still on wobbly legs! Can Norberg finish him?
Osmond throws a poor cross that misses
and Norberg rattles Osmond with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Osmond tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Norberg dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Osmond stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Buster Norberg!
A relieved looking Buster Norberg thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
