Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giro Inhanamoto (ranked 107 p4p, 207 weight class) and Gothic Line (ranked 12 p4p, 30 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Giro Inhanamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gothic Line!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inhanamoto throws an off balance right hand
and Line counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Inhanamoto misses with a hook.
Line moves away from the strike by Inhanamoto.
Inhanamoto is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Line.
Line looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Inhanamoto throws a poor cross that misses
and Line counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Line swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Inhanamoto.

It looks like Giro Inhanamoto has been cut.
Inhanamoto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Line.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inhanamoto throws a hook to the side of Line's head but Line sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Line defending well as Inhanamoto loads up on a big left hand.
Line bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Inhanamoto's head backwards.
The crowd cheers as Inhanamoto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Line doesn't seem phased though.

Line lands a left and a right that send Inhanamoto crashing to the mat, dazed. Line thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Inhanamoto is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Inhanamoto fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Gothic Line has been cut.
Inhanamoto misses with a kick to the body
and Line counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Inhanamoto scores with a push kick.
Line tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Inhanamoto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Inhanamoto ducks under a wild hook from Line.
Inhanamoto throws a looping overhand right but Line ducks down to avoid it.
Inhanamoto misses the jab.
Line swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Inhanamoto jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Line avoids the head kick by Inhanamoto.
The fighters circling - Line throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Inhanamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Inhanamoto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Line slips a straight right by Inhanamoto.
Line swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Line throws out a counter right but Inhanamoto avoids it with no problem.
Inhanamoto comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Line throws a head kick that misses.
Inhanamoto is looking to counter with a body kick.
Line looks to score with a jab to the body but Inhanamoto is just out of range.
As Line backs away, Inhanamoto returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Line has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Inhanamoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Line.
Inhanamoto appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Line avoids the body shot from Inhanamoto.
Line displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Inhanamoto throws out the jab.
It seemed like Line was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Inhanamoto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Line tries a head kick but it misses.

Line is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Inhanamoto with a body shot.
Line lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Inhanamoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Line feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Inhanamotos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Line cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Inhanamoto throws a jab when Line was well out of range.
Inhanamoto slips a straight right by Line.
Inhanamoto throws a poor cross that misses
and Line cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Inhanamoto drops Line with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Line looks back up at him and smiles so Inhanamoto waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Inhanamoto counters with a left to the body.

Inhanamoto feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Line sprawling to the canvas! Line rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Inhanamoto finish him?!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Line plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Inhanamoto throws an overhand right that lands on Line's shoulder, as Line tries to avoid the shot.

Inhanamoto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Inhanamoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Line doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Giro Inhanamoto is winning the standup battle so far.

Inhanamoto misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Line to counter with a crisp jab.
Inhanamoto misses the jab.
Line is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Line is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Inhanamoto.

Line moves out of range of the body kick from Inhanamoto.

I would just about give that final round to Gothic Line.
I think Line has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
