Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hoshigaki Juiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Two Two!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juiro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Juiro lands a two punch combo.
Juiro throws a nice looking combination but Two bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Juiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Two circles away quickly and effectively.
Two wants to counter the offense by Juiro and move into the clinch position.
Juiro displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Two shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Juiro but Juiro pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Two fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hoshigaki Juiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Juiro lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Juiro misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Juiro does no damage.
Two is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Juiro gets caught napping as Two dives in and scores a takedown. Juiro manages to retain guard.
Two drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Two jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Two is looking to work some ground and pound but Juiro has wrist control.
Juiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Two doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Juiro is tightening it up a little... Two has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Two reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Two taps out! Nice BJJ there by Juiro!
