PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Stronk (ranked 2169 p4p, 1911 weight class) and Limu Emu (ranked 315 p4p, 285 weight class). Limu Emu told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stronk swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Emu jabs Stronk to the body, keeping him at a distance.

A quick step to the side and Stronk tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stronk paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Stronk is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Stronk closes the distance and pushes Emu back into the cage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I would just about give that final round to Limu Emu.
