Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bento Barboza (ranked 105 p4p, 114 weight class) and Maximilian Bonaparte (ranked 13 p4p, 16 weight class). Barboza comes to the cage accompanied by Angel Of Death. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Maximilian Bonaparte enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barboza moves in looking to clinch but Bonaparte pushes him off.
Barboza moves away from the strike by Bonaparte.
It looked like Barboza was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bonaparte swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bonaparte lands a front kick.
Bonaparte throws a body punch but Barboza moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barboza throws a low kick but Bonaparte moves out of range easily.
Bonaparte replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Barboza blocks it well.
Barboza drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Barboza has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bonaparte misses with a wild body shot.
Bonaparte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barboza moves away.
Barboza swings widly with a right hand
and Bonaparte cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Bento Barboza has been cut.

Bonaparte jabs Barboza to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Bonaparte cracks Barboza with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bonaparte has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barboza to stand back up!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bonaparte throws a low kick, looking for Barboza's leg but Barboza calmly moves out of range.
Barboza misses with a low kick as Bonaparte jumps back.
Bonaparte fakes the leg kick and cracks Barboza in the body.
Good work by Bonaparte as he checks the leg kick.
Bonaparte looks to score with a jab to the body but Barboza is just out of range.

Barboza moves out of range of the body kick from Bonaparte.
Barboza thinks about countering with a body kick.
Barboza walks into a jab.
Bonaparte throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Barboza moves into the clinch.
Bonaparte lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Barboza managing to block the knees to the body from Bonaparte.

Bonaparte breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bonaparte jabs at Barboza's body.

Barboza is breathing heavily.
Barboza on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bonaparte looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bonaparte throws a body punch but Barboza moves out of range.

Bonaparte feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Barboza sprawling to the canvas! Barboza rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bonaparte finish him?!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bonaparte cracks Barboza with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barboza looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bonaparte finish him?
Bonaparte throws a push kick but Barboza slaps the foot to one side.
Barboza is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bonaparte cracks Barboza with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Barboza falls to his knees and Bonaparte doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
