Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devin Hill (ranked 1068 p4p, 1255 weight class) and The Devils Outlaw (ranked 60 p4p, 71 weight class). Outlaw is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For The Outlawz by Moonshine Bandits. Devin Hill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, The Devils Outlaw!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill pushes Outlaw up against the cage in a clinch.
Hill lands a knee to the body.
Outlaw throws a punch but it's blocked by Hill.
Hill misses with a knee strike.
Outlaw stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Outlaw on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Outlaw misses with some punches.
Hill throws an elbow but it misses.
Outlaw is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Hill is breathing heavily.
Hill presses Outlaw against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Still in the clinch, Outlaw scores with a nice short uppercut.
Outlaw lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Outlaw has hold of one of Hill's legs. Hill is fighting the takedown attempt but Outlaw gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Outlaw loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hill wants to sweep but no luck.

We've been hearing good reports from Hill's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Outlaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Outlaw got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Outlaw has managed to get both his arms back between Hill's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hill avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hill is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Hill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hill has momentary wrist control but Outlaw slips an elbow through the middle.

Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Outlaw is proving a slippery customer.
Outlaw is working Hill over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hill is rocked!

Outlaw content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Oh Hill is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Outlaw landing with the ground and pound.
Outlaw postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hill covers up, he's hurt! Outlaw keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Outlaw and the ref steps in to end the fight! Outlaw can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Devils Outlaw!
A relieved looking The Devils Outlaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Devin Hill stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
