Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Holt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flaming Kerotan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kerotan throws out the jab.
Kerotan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holt.
Holt throws a series of punches but Kerotan avoids them all with ease.
Holt takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've been hearing reports that Holt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Holt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kerotan wants to get back to his feet but Holt is dominant here and he's now got Kerotan's back!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holt cracks Kerotan with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Kerotan from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Holt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

I really don't envy Kerotan right now.

Holt lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Kerotan hold on?!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kerotan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerotan is trying to get back to his feet but Holt has full control of the position and if anything, Kerotan has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Kerotan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kerotan is taking damage to the body and head.
Kerotan grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Holt lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Holt.
Holt is landing with strikes. Kerotan can't take much more of this.
You can see the frustration on Kerotan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The referee is taking a good look at Kerotan as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Holt!

Kerotan rolls, trying to escape but Holt keeps control of the position.
Kerotan seems to have recovered his senses.

Holt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Holt works his foot free and advances to mount.

BOOM! Holt connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Holt lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Holt cracks Kerotan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kerotan is looking to improve his position but Holt isn't that keen on the idea.

Holt has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kerotan's face.
