The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kerekes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Chao tries to keep at a distance but Kerekes has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kerekes prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kerekes lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kerekes slowing the pace effectively.
Kerekes makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerekes struggles to land a body shot inside as Chao controls his hands.
Kerekes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chaos head.

Chao's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chao shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chao showed some decent athleticism there.
Kerekes is looking for a sweep. Chao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chao not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kerekes wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chao in particular looking to stall.

Chao lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kerekes is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chao connects with a nice short shot to Kerekes's temple.
Chao looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kerekes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Chao lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kerekes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kerekes tries to get out of the position.

Chao is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kerekes. Chao does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chao shoots in for a double leg but Kerekes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gao Chao is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chao takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kerekes scores with a jab to the jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kerekes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chao misses the shot to the body.

Chao shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kerekes's guard.
Kerekes wants to stand up but Chao is controlling him.
Kerekes keeping full guard, as Chao tries to pass.

Chao is pushing down on Kerekes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kerekes is fighting to maintain full guard but Chao has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kerekes is not content to let Chao control the position.

Chao is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Chao passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kerekes!

Chao is working for a guillotine from mount but Kerekes frees his head quite easily.

Kerekes is trying to escape the mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chao cracks Kerekes with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Oh Kerekes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chao unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kerekes wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Chao celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gao Chao!
