Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Time To Fight Wright (ranked 1758 p4p, 1245 weight class) and Excalam Black (ranked 210 p4p, 156 weight class). Black has chosen Signe de contradiction as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Time To Fight Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Excalam Black!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Wright with that takedown attempt.
Black swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Black swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wright.
Black does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wright misses the jab.
Black tries to score with a low kick but Wright moves his leg out of the way.
Wright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Black wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Black lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Black slips a jab and a cross from Wright.
Black misses with an uppercut. Wright saw that one coming.
Black avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Black throws a leg kick which misses Wright's front leg but catches the back leg as Wright tries to avoid it.

Black fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wright, pushing him back against the cage.
Wright tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Time To Fight Wright. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright swings away with an uppercut that misses.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Black.
Wright wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wright trying to control the position but instead, Black has worked for underhooks and has pushed Wright into the cage.
Black lands a body punch.

Black's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Black connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wright's hands.
Wright throws a hook but Black blocks it.
Wright throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wright tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wright somewhat.
Black misses with a looping left.
A right-left combo lands from Wright.

It looks like Excalam Black has been cut.
Black throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wright scores with a jab. Black acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wright fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wright moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black connects with a jab.
Black looks to land a right hand but Wright moved out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wright is defended easily by Black.
Black connects with a looping right hand.
Black gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wright scores with a shot to the body.
Black staying out of range there.
Black follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
No luck for Wright with that takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wright moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Black enables Wright to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Black manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wright throws a strike but Black rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wright doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Black drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wright looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wright looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wright!

Black is trying to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wright has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wright.
Black really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wright punishing his opponent with strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wright cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wright scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Black is rocked!
Wright will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wright lands a big elbow - Black is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Black is forced to tap out!
