Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joseph OByrne (ranked 3721 p4p, 2101 weight class) and Richie Alaska (ranked 377 p4p, 260 weight class). Alaska has chosen A Long December - Counting Crows as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Joseph OByrne has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joseph OByrne seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alaska steps to the side to avoid the strikes from OByrne.
Alaska let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Alaska has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
OByrne looks to land a right hand but Alaska moved out of range.
Alaska tries to close the distance and clinch but OByrne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Joseph OByrne has been cut.
OByrne has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gorilla Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Alaska fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. OByrne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

OByrne looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

As Alaska looks to move away, OByrne throws a big counter combo but Alaska just gets out of the way.
Alaska uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before OByrne has time to react.

Oh OByrne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alaska throws an off balance right hand
and OByrne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Alaska drops OByrne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but OByrne looks back up at him and smiles so Alaska waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
