Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Get Rekt (ranked 4672 p4p, 21953 weight class) and Kingsley Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Get Rekt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kingsley Brown!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rekt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Get Rekt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rekt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brown can pounce on him.
Rekt tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Rekt avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Rekt misses the target.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Rekt wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Rekt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.
Rekt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rekt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rekt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brown lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Rekt misses with a double jab.
Rekt avoids the head kick by Brown.
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rekt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rekt misses the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brown! But no joy.
Brown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rekt has time to react.

Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Brown lands a big right hand that sends Rekt crashing to the mat! Brown stays standing though and waves Rekt back to his feet!
Brown connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Rekt covering up! Brown comes in with a big uppercut and Rekt goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kingsley Brown!
