Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greggory Silalahi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Shams Charania!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charania shoots in for a takedown but Silalahi shows good takedown defense.
Silalahi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Charania fails to land with a series of punches.

Charania closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Silalahi bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Silalahi cracks Charania with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Charania shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silalahi counters with a nice uppercut.
Silalahi digs a good body shot into Charania's ribs.
Charania looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Charania shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silalahi pinned against the cage. Silalahi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Greggory Silalahi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shams Charania.
An inside leg kick lands from Silalahi.
Silalahi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Shams Charania has been cut.
Silalahi connects with a single shot there.
Greggory Silalahi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silalahi scores with a hook to the body. Charania takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Charania goes for a double leg but Silalahi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silalahi continues to drive forward.
Charania with a poor takedown
and Silalahi counters with a straight right hand.
Nice takedown defense from Silalahi. No joy for Charania on that attempt.
Silalahi throwing a counter right hand but Charania manages to avoid it.
Charania has a takedown stuffed.
Charania looks winded!
Charania misses with a series of wild punches.
Silalahi scores with a jab to the body.

Silalahi cracks Charania with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Silalahi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Charania to stand back up!

Charania is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silalahi scores with a nice head shot.
Charania is still on wobbly legs! Can Silalahi finish him?
Charania takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Silalahi lands a big right hand that sends Charania crashing to the mat! Silalahi stays standing though and waves Charania back to his feet!
It looks like Silalahi has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Shams Charania seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Charania will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silalahi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Silalahi ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Charania out cold! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Greggory Silalahi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
