The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag doesn't succeed with the takedown

and De Fuentino holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

De Fuentino works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bag is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
De Fuentino controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bag looking for a sweep. Not yet Bag, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bag looking for a guillotine here but De Fuentino defends easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bag is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
