The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nicitel with a dominant takedown and that's winded pavonen.
pavonen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nicitel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Nicitel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for pavonen on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nicitel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Nicitel stands up over pavonen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

It looks like heska pavonen has been cut.
pavonen has momentary wrist control but Nicitel slips an elbow through the middle.

Nicitel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Nicitel postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! pavonen covers up, he's hurt! Nicitel keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Nicitel and the ref steps in to end the fight! Nicitel can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
