Bancroft wants to control from the top but Lock keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bancroft tries to close the distance and clinch but Lock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bancroft is keen to just control but Lock is a slippery customer.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lock tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Bancroft is looking to advance position but Lock won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bancroft lands a nice shot that snaps Lock's head back.
Lock tries to clinch but Bancroft moves out of range.
Bancroft shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lock pinned against the cage. Lock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bancroft swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bancroft throws a series of punches but Lock moves out of range.
Bancroft throws a leg kick but Lock sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Lock has a takedown stuffed.
Lock throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bancroft's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bancroft's back!
Lock throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Bancroft has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Lock.

Lock has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Lock is trying to stick to Bancroft's back but Bancroft is turning into Lock. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lock's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bancroft.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bancroft gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lock is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bancroft in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bancroft doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bancroft manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lock pulls Bancroft in to control the position.
Lock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Lock has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bancroft doesn't defend quickly enough and Lock has managed to lock this one up! Can Bancroft escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lock on a fantastic submission victory.
