The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Brodie.
Brodie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Valerio throws out the jab.
Brodie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Valerio connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brodie scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Ernesto Valerio has been cut.
Brodie walks into a left hand.
Valerio connects with a crisp jab.
Brodie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Valerio throws out a counter right but Brodie avoids it with no problem.
Nice jab there from Brodie.
Brodie looks to score with a jab to the body but Valerio is just out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Valerio misses.
Brodie scores with a nice head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Valerio ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Valerio thuds his right hand into Brodie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice straight punches there by Valerio. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Valerio.

Brodie is rocked!
Brodie leaves his chin hanging out and Valerio seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Brodie crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
