Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Isaac Keys!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jackman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keys chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jackman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jackman misses with a looping right.
Jackman lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Keys scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Keys misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Keys scores with a jab to the body.
Keys throws the left hand but Jackman avoids the punch easily.
Jackman is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Keys misses with a straight right.
Jackman throws out a counter right but Keys avoids it with no problem.
Nice shot by Keys.
Jackman moves out of range of the body kick from Keys.
Keys connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Keys loads up on a big right hand but Jackman slips the punch.
And Jackman tries to counter it with a takedown but Keys pushes his down on his head and steps out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackman punishes Keys's body with a nice straight punch.
Jackman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jackman misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice combination there by Jackman.
A slow jab from Jackman misses its intended target.
Jackman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Keys misses with a low kick.
Jackman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jackman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jackman misses with a looping right.
Jackman drives through with a takedown into Keys's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jackman is standing up over Keys. Keys looks to escape but Jackman dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Keys's shoulder. That is not cool.
Jackman is looking to take a break and control but Keys is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackman working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackman tries to move into full mount but can't pass Keys's legs.
Keys can't do much from the bottom here.
Keys seems a little lost for a moment, as Jackman dominates the positioning.
Jackman scoring with punches and elbows.
Jackman lands an elbow.
Jackman lands some shots froms side control.
Jackman is working to tighten his grip on Keys's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Keys has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jackman is really squeezing tight and eventually Keys passes out! Jackman breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jimmy Jackman!
