Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 5888 p4p, 23351 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 87 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 80 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away.
Fighter B throws a big counter head kick but Fighter A avoids it with no problem.
Fighter B looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter A is fending him off so far but Fighter B persists. Nope, Fighter A circles away and we're back to standing.
Fighter A appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Fighter A fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter B sprawls well initially but Fighter A persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter B is trying to get back to full guard.
Fighter A not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B desperately trying to maintain half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter A stalling.
Fighter B wants to get back to full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fighter B holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fighter B scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fighter A shoots in but no luck this time.
Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away.
Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter A fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fighter B drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter B is proving a slippery customer.
Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses.
Fighter A looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fighter B is one step ahead there.
Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sss Sss will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt
and Fighter A counters with a head kick.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter B as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter B is defended easily by Fighter A.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B with a poor takedown
and Fighter A counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss.
Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fighter A leaves Fighter B with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks.

Fighter B bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fighter A taking a bit of punishment here - Fighter B scoring with strikes.
Fighter B controls the position.

Fighter B working away.
Fighter A manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Fighter B working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fighter B seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fighter B lands a nice short elbow.
Fighter A trying to control here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Fighter A looking to score a takedown here. Fighter B is defending well but Fighter A drives through and ends up in Fighter B's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Sss Sss will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Fighter A gets caught napping as Fighter B dives in and scores a takedown. Fighter A manages to retain guard.
Fighter B controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Fighter A managing to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad.
Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fighter B throws a leg kick that is checked
and Fighter A counters with a nice body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fighter B gets the takedown into side control.

Fighter A sneaks out the side door and pushes Fighter B away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Fighter A misses with a kick to the body

and Fighter B counters with a single leg into guard. Fighter A didn't expect that.
Fighter B's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter B keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fighter A's head.
Fighter B wants to pass the guard but Fighter A is keeping the position.
Fighter B controlling from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sss Sss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fighter B is fighting to break Fighter A's control of his arms but Fighter A is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fighter B winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
