Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Travis Carter (ranked 3847 p4p, 25175 weight class) and Harry Livingstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Livingstone has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Travis Carter is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Livingstone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carter quickly recovers to half guard.

Livingstone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carter to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Livingstone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carter finds it's way round the side to connect with Livingstone's head.

Carter takes the fight into the clinch.

Carter jumps guard and drags Livingstone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Carter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carter is on top in guard.

Carter seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Livingstone for as long as he can get away with.

Carter rushes Livingstone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
