McGee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. bat outta hell song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kaiden Walsh has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaiden Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddie McGee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh throws a series of punches but McGee moves out of range.
We've been told by Walsh's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Walsh throws a lazy right hand but McGee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

McGee looking to score a takedown here. Walsh is defending well but McGee drives through and ends up in Walsh's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGee looking to sit in guard and control but Walsh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Walsh wants to control the pace but McGee is squirming around nicely.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Walsh clobbers McGee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Walsh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Walsh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McGee shoots in but Walsh avoids the takedown attempt easily.
It looked like Walsh wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kaiden Walsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie McGee.

Horrible takedown attempt by McGee or perhaps it was just good defense by Walsh, which made it look bad.
It looked like Walsh wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McGee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walsh's waist but Walsh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGee off to one side.
McGee misses with a takedown attempt - Walsh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McGee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Walsh counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Freddie McGee has been cut.

Nice sprawl there from Walsh as McGee shoots in.

McGee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Walsh to counter with a crisp jab.
Walsh looks to land a right hand but McGee moved out of range.
And McGee tries to counter it with a takedown but Walsh pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Walsh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Walsh cracks McGee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Walsh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGee to stand back up!

McGee is rocked!
McGee tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Walsh counters with a right hand from hell and McGee is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaiden Walsh!
