Braga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mercier is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Braga's half guard.
Mercier wants to pass the guard but Braga is defending well.
Braga has his hands clasped together around Mercier's back. He's all about the action.

Mercier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Braga swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mercier looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Braga wants to control from the top but Mercier keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mercier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Braga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Braga is fighting to break Mercier's control of his arms but Mercier is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
