The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hakansson is defended easily by Takanori.
Takanori throws out a counter right but Hakansson avoids it with no problem.
Takanori misses with a leg kick.
Hakansson throwing a counter right hand but Takanori manages to avoid it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hakansson.
Hakansson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Takanori! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hakansson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Takanori tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hakansson cranks the arm and Takanori screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Takanori, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
