The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong Man tries to clinch up but Lachance circles away and keeps his distance.

Lachance darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hong Man is trying to stand.
Lachance moves nicely into side control.

Lachance looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lachance lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hong Man looks gassed!
Hong Man is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lachance connects with a decent elbow.

It looks like Choi Hong Man has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lachance is working to tighten is grip on Hong Man's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hong Man has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lachance is really squeezing tight and eventually Hong Man passes out! Lachance breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
